Campaign Story

Across Israel, emergencies don’t discriminate—but the response often does.
The Adele & Joel Sandberg Women’s Initiative is changing that by recruiting, training, and equipping women from every background to serve on the frontlines of lifesaving care.
Since its launch, the program has expanded the female volunteer network to over 1,600 certified responders—surpassing its initial targets and delivering critical care where it’s most needed.
Volunteers include EMTs, phlebotomists, dispatchers, midwives, psychotrauma counselors, and instructors—all trained to respond to medical, trauma, and mental-health crises across Israel’s diverse communities.
Through a strategic partnership with Israel’s Midwives Association, the initiative integrated 400 professional midwives into emergency response roles.
Your support directly funds training courses, personal emergency kits (CPR tools, oxygen tanks, trauma supplies), and the protective gear these brave women need to act safely and effectively under pressure.
Donations empower these responders to act swiftly in crisis, while also building gender equity and reinforcing the fabric of shared national care.
By uplifting women as first responders, this initiative strengthens long-term community resilience and promotes collaboration across religious and ethnic lines.
Each woman you sponsor becomes a trained lifesaver—and a beacon of hope in critical moments.
Donate today to amplify women’s leadership and expand this growing network of lifesaving heroes.
